About Us

Captain Dorman has been on the water his whole life--he grew up on the water, and had a boat before he even had a truck to tow it! Danny is a third generation fisherman, who started out repairing and refurbishing boats. There was just something special about taking a boat and bringing it back to it's former glory! In 2014, he officially started Low Country Skiffs, putting his focus on building the best shallow water boats on the market. When he’s not working, you can find Danny hanging out with his family, and enjoying the day’s catch.
